Can I upgrade my copy of Penfriend?

Problem:

I have an old version of Penfriend that is out of date. I want to use the latest version of Penfriend because it has new functionality and solutions for old bugs.

Solution:

We give a discount on upgrades from Penfriend W3 or Penfriend XP version 2 to Penfriend XP version 3 and from Penfriend W3 or Penfriend XP to Penfriend XL. Buy from our web shop if you do not have an account, noting your existing customer number. Visit our Sales page for more information.

To upgrade an activated copy of Penfriend using available patches, go to the "View" menu in your copy of Penfriend and click on "Web Site...". This will take you to our support page. You should then click on "Customer Downloads" which takes you to a page from which the patches can be downloaded. These will upgrade you to the latest version of Penfriend XL or XP, which is currently 3.2.3.6741.

Please note that if your copy of Penfriend HAS NOT been activated, these patches will not be available to you. If you have an early copy of Penfriend XL before the institution of internet activation, register on our web site and email us to ask for access to the download.
